LANTERN

Tethered UAS for persistent ISR & mobile deployment

The LANTERN is a tethered UAS that is designed for seamless integration with UGVs, USVs and crewed vehicles, with precise auto-following capabilities and an advanced tether management system that actively regulates tension, preventing drag and reducing snag risk while ensuring smooth and uninterrupted operation in highly dynamic environments.

The rugged system is housed in a durable aluminum enclosure that can withstand vibration, forces of more than 30g, gunfire, indirect shell explosions, and is designed to endure all weather (rain, ice, snow, sand, dust) conditions. It is fully compatible with any single-phase 240VAC 4kW generator, allowing it to be easily powered by existing field equipment for simplified logistics.

VULTURE

Tethered maritime UAS for persistent BLOS command & control

The VULTURE is a rapidly-deployable tethered UAS that has been specifically designed for naval and maritime operations. Housed in a rugged containerized enclosure, it provides semi-autonomous takeoff, following, and landing and ensures persistent capabilities without the need for recharging or battery changing.

The advanced UAS is ideal for prolonged communications and ISR support, and has been designed with built-in cybersecurity and RMF (Risk Management Framework)-compliant networking capabilities. It also offers high-bandwidth encrypted Ethernet connectivity, ensuring that sensitive mission-critical data can be transmitted securely in real time.

The VULTURE has been deployed by the US Navy to extend the range of Program of Record radios such as the RSS R/T 1944 and the MIDS JTRS Link 16. This crucial capability enhances mission co-ordination at sea and provides command and control over the horizon.

UMAR

All-weather tethered UAS for aerial relay & maritime ISR

UMAR (Unmanned Multirotor Aerial Relay) is a tethered UAS designed as a modular and portable capability that can be easily integrated into naval vessels and mobile platforms. Acting as a mobile mast or stationary “crow’s nest”, it can be controlled via simple push-button commands for takeoff, altitude adjustments, and landing, and requires no additional stabilization systems.

The versatile platform can be equipped with a range of payloads, including radio equipment and ISR sensors, and can be deployed at altitudes of up to 500 feet. It has been selected by the US Navy for critical maritime over-the-horizon communications, and offers secure datalink protection against jamming and hacking attacks.
