WOLF Advanced Technology is an industry-leading designer and manufacturer of rugged high-performance board, module, and system-level embedded computing solutions for UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicle) and unmanned systems, with a focus on mission-critical HPC, AI, and data and video I/O applications.

WOLF’s solutions are designed to withstand the most challenging environmental stressors without sacrificing any of the high-performance capabilities offered by cutting-edge NVIDIA® GPUs and AMD® FPGA technologies.

Our solutions are available as COTS products and can also be customized to meet unique unmanned systems mission requirements. Designed with size, weight and power (SWaP) optimization foremost in mind, they support an extensive range of video formats (SDI, DisplayPort, DVI, HDMI, CoaXPress, ARINC 818, STANAG-3350, CVBS, RS170, RS343, LVDS, and custom). Product architectures include VPX, SOSA, XMC, MXM/MXC, and full custom designs.

WOLF products are powered by state-of-the-art embedded GPU and accelerated computing technology from NVIDIA® and AMD®. With a range of form factors including 6U VPX, 3U VPX, and XMC, our product portfolio offers options for a wide variety of UAV and robotic vehicle platforms, and ensures the utmost in reliability under the harshest battlefield conditions. WOLF designs meet or exceed strict reliability requirements and are designed to facilitate performance and quality assurance testing at all stages of product development, from early concept to production release, including design simulations, lab testing, and prototype testing in customers’ real-world application environments.

Our operations are compliant with the following management standards:

  • AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards
  • AS5553 for counterfeit electronic parts prevention
  • NIST SP 800-171 for protecting Controlled Unclassified Information

All our electronics hardware is manufactured to:

  • IPC-A-610 CLASS 3 (electronic assembly acceptability)
  • IPC 6012 CLASS 3 (high-reliability PCBs)
  • IPC J-STD-001 (soldered assembled requirements)

The rugged modules are ideal for advanced onboard high-speed and compute-intensive applications such as AI inference, video capture and encoding, and image and data processing. Our solutions can be customized to support any video signal, including but not limited to: 12/6/3G-SDI, CoaXPress, ARINC 818-2/3, STANAG-3350 A/B/C, CVBS, RS170, RS343, LVDS, DVI, DisplayPort, Camera/Channel Link, and custom signals.
