Red Cat Holdings secured a competitive contract via the NATO Support and Procurement Agency to deliver the Black Widow sUAS for tactical intelligence missions throughout the year<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contract, which was facilitated through the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA), schedules the delivery of an undisclosed number of sUAS<\/a> during the 2026 calendar year. Each system provided under the agreement comprises two Black Widow aircraft, a ground control station, and various mission-critical components required for field operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThis contract reflects a broader shift toward systems that can move quickly from procurement to deployment,\u201d<\/em> said Jeff Thompson, CEO of Red Cat. \u201cNATO allies need platforms that are deployable today for use in contested environments, built on secure U.S. supply chains, and able to be manufactured and fielded at scale. Black Widow is designed for that reality, delivering reliable ISR at the tactical edge where speed, readiness, and electronic warfare resilience are critical to mission success.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Engineered specifically for tactical edge intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR)<\/a> missions, the Black Widow is the flagship sUAS for Red Cat. The platform features a compact, rugged design with a secure communications architecture and is compliant with the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). As part of a broader Family of Systems, these modular solutions are developed through subsidiaries including Teal Drones and FlightWave Aerospace to support military and national security operations across air, land, and sea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to its aerial platforms, Red Cat is expanding into the maritime domain through Blue Ops, Inc. to develop uncrewed surface vessels (USVs). These integrated platforms are designed to enhance multi-domain mission effectiveness and safety for government and public safety agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
